Igglybuff (Japanese : ププリン Pupurin ) is a Normal-type baby Pokémon .
It evolves into Jigglypuff when leveled up with high friendship , which evolves into Wigglytuff when exposed to a Moon Stone .
Biology
Physiology
Igglybuff is a small, bipedal balloon-like animal that is pink all over. It has a rounded tuft of hair on top of its head, a small swirl-like pattern on its forehead, and red eyes in contrast to the teal eyes of its later evolutions. Igglybuff have small, stubby limbs.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
This small Pokémon is extremely elastic and can bounce like a ball. It may not be able to stop if it does this. It also displays the singing abilities of its evolutions, but isn't able to sing as long as they can. It also smells sweet to calm the emotions of its foes.
Behavior
Igglybuff's extremely flexible and elastic body makes it bounce continuously. If it starts to roll, its bouncing can become out of control and very difficult to stop.
Igglybuff can often be found practicing its singing. If it continuously sings strenuously, its body slowly turns a deepening pink color. Igglybuff's vocal chords are not sufficiently developed, and it can often end up with a sore throat from singing too much.
Habitat
Grassland Pokémon
Igglybuff tend to live in grassland close by freshwater streams. They use water from the streams to gargle in their sore throats, which can occur from straining their vocal chords.
